Madcap is a formerly hyper-religious guy who gets splashed with an experimental nerve agent and becomes a psychotic, immortal nihilist. Sounds pretty neat, right? And in the hands of Grant Morrison or Alan Moore it probably would have been, but instead, the fine folks at Marvel took a decent concept dressed it up in a jester outfit, gave it a bubble gun and sent it on its wacky way.
