I don't want to come down too hard on the Tea Party patriots - many of them have legit grievances about the way they see their country being run and want to do something about them. However, the 2010 elections didn't really portray them in the best light. Case in point: Christine O'Donnell.

The Republican nominee for Delaware's open Senate seat looked good from a distance - a spunky conservative in the Sarah Palin mode. Unfortunately, like Palin she fell apart hard under pressure, with bizarre TV clips from her past fighting for space with gaffes from her present.

My favorite moment in her symphony of fail was her lecturing opponent Chris Coons on the Constitution before revealing that she was unaware that the document called for the separation of church and state. What's next? She's writing a book talking about her "disillusionment with the political process." Because she lost.
