What's on
the Box: Optimus Prime shoots at something. Another Transformer is in
the distance. Apparently, they are on Cybertron.
What's Good: Optimus Prime on anything is good for the fans.
What's Bad: Why is
only half of O.P. on the box? What's with the lens flare? Why fight for
Cybertron when it looks like that?
Verdict: Fail. It could've
featured more Transformers, especially considering the multiplayer
components.
What's on the Box: A teddy bear
with a mean face and a stitch on his head busts through a wooden door.
He holds a sword that shows the reflection of a frightened bear cop.
What's
Good: The look on the frightened bear cop's face is priceless.
What's
Bad: Nothing. It looks awesome.
Verdict: Win. We can only hope that
the game is as good as its cover art.
What's on the Box: A runway with
three shadowy figures -- two models and someone with scissors. And the
faces of celebrity judges Heidi Klum and Tim Gunn.
What's Good: The
celebrities stand out; that's good for brand recognition.
What's Bad: The celebrities are just creepy, disembodied heads with frozen, blank
faces.
Verdict: Fail. Severed heads make me very upset.
What's on the Box: A family of four
stands inside an upside head filled with seemingly random symbols.
What's
Good: It's simple -- it's got a family and the icon of a head filled
with stuff representing "thinking."
What's Bad: The head in the
upside-down position makes me think that something is askew. Not to
mention the fact that this same exact family was used on the box art of a
previous game (see here).
Verdict: Fail. At least bother to find
new stock images!
What's
on the Box: A ferocious bear, cougar, wolf, moose and various birds are
totally about to rip that hunter, who's doing a poor job of hiding
behind a rock, to shreds.
What's Good: This game definitely looks
like it offers a challenge to the hunter.
What's Bad: Every hunting
game seems to have a ferocious bear on the cover.
Verdict: Fail. I
don't want to be mauled, anyway.
