Sultry Russian duo T.a.T.u. have never shied away from controversy - hell, their entire marketing campaign in the States revolved around the pair making out as often and as publicly as possible. They received a little bit of backlash when they were outed as not being lesbians, with the same-sex smooching being a calculated attention grab by their unscrupulous management. But the duo would push the envelope even farther in 2003, when they sent out a press release recruiting teenage girls to join them in a naked photo shoot. In Russia, the age of consent to be photographed naked is a mere fourteen, so the duo probably figured they'd be fine - but in Western countries, where we prefer a few more years go by before the n00dz are legal, releasing that record could lead to a perfect storm of kiddie porn lawsuits. The cover didn't happen, but you can't blame them for trying.
