As if her 18-34 male demographic was in any doubt after playing a beautiful woman in Star Trek and a beautiful alien monster in Avatar, Zoe Saldana will be appearing in a film seemingly designed in a lab to please the dudes of this fine country: The action-packed thriller Colombiana.
In the flick, Saldana plays a woman who works as an assassin by day, but uses her nights, weekends and PTO to track down the mobsters who killed her family before her eyes as a nine-year-old girl. Also, since the original murders took place in Colombia, we're guessing cocaine is somehow involved. (That's not a racist joke, that's a joke about Hollywood's racism.)

We're still trying to figure out whether liking this makes us Furries.
Despite all the French people involved, this action movie actually has a pretty great pedigree. (That's not a racist joke, that's a xenophobic joke) The film is produced by Luc Besson, best known around these parts for The Professional, The Fifth Element, Taken and the Transporter films - so you know there will be a fair bit of violence. Besson cowrote the film with frequent collaborator Robert Mark Kamen and it will be directed by Olivier Megaton, who in addition to having a great professional wrestler name, directed Transporter 3 and will be helming the upcoming Taken 2.
The trailer has pretty much everything a movie like this needs: Abundant gunfire, emotional flashbacks and yes, Zaldana in her underwear. Check it out below:
