Resident Evil: Who is Alice?

Alice has had some pretty bad days since she started working as the head of security at the Umbrella Corporation's secret underground bioweapons lab known as the Hive. When we first meet her she is just coming to her senses, having seemingly slipped in the shower. Soon enough she realizes something's not right, she doesn't know who she is. She wanders the mansion in which she's found herself, coming across several clues as to her identity, when suddenly an Umbrella Special Ops team arrives to 'rescue' her. They take her into custody and explain that she is also an Umbrella security officer, but her memory has been temporarily lost as a result of inhaling a noxious gas.
