Everybody's talking about a World of Warcraft film, but at UGO, we dare to be different. Why not go back even further, to a time when Blizzard were known as Silicon and Synapse. One of the games they created was a superbly-fun platformer called The Lost Vikings. The game doesn't have much in the way of story, but the art aesthetic is certainly an interesting one. Cast Chris Hemmsworth as Baleog, and there's your start! John Rhys Davies can play Olaf. TL;DR: Make a Lost Vikings film!

For whatever reason, videogame movies have enjoyed only a modest success at best, and that got us thinking: Can a videogame make a successful film? We see no reason why it couldn’t. The next question, logically, is “What videogames would make for great films?”
