Top Worf Moments

The top moments of Worf, Star Trek's most Beloved and Mighty Klingon Warrior.

He is Worf - Son of Mogh!

And he has the deepest voice in all of television. Worf could suck on helium for an hour and a half and his voice would still be ten times deeper than yours. But Worf would not suck on helium, because it is not honorable! Instead, Worf will slay his enemies on the field of battle until the very River Skral runs red with blood. Glory to all who fall at the feet of this mighty warrior and ride to Sto-Vo-Kor to drink bloodwine with Kahless! Come - let us sing songs of his might, his majesty, his humanity (what? just wait) as we list UGO's Top Worf Moments.

Suffering the Painstiks During His Second Rite of Ascension

Poor Worf, the loneliest Klingon boy on the ship! And he's got the blues because it's the ten year anniversary of his First Rite of Ascension (and high time for his second) and he's stuck on the Enterprise. Luckily, rosy-cheeked space cadet Wesley Crusher senses Worf is down in the dumps and recreates the fiery pain gauntlet on the Holodeck. Now everyone can enjoy this sado-masochistic ritual.

Fact: John Tesh is one of the holo-Klingons zapping Worf. According to the Collectible Card Game, the Klingon's name was K'Tesh.

Delivering Molly O'Brien

A barrage of quantum filaments (State Farm so doesn't cover for that) have left the Enterprise near destruction. The senior staff is scattered (Ro Laren vs Troi on the bridge!) and while some get stuck in a Jeffries Tube or a Turbolift, Worf finds himself trapped in Ten-Forward with a very pregnant Keiko O'Brien. We know Worf can defeat a swarm of Jem'Hadar infantrymen, but can he defeat a women without an epidural?

Fact: Keiko O'Brien was played by Rosalind Chao, whose first break was as Maxwell Q. Klinger's wife Soon-Lee on M*A*S*H.

Zero-G Borg Battle

Zero-G Borg Battle

Despite a personal distaste for working in a Zero-G environment, Worf makes no argument when Captain Picard orders him (and Lt. Hawk, a redshirt in white) to dismantle the Enterprise E's deflector dish that is acting as a beacon for the Borg. A gash in a protected space suit is enough to destroy most mortals, but a quick-thinking Worf is able to contain the pressure leak, fulfill his objective and step out of the way as Jean-Luc blasts the remaining Borg into space.

Fact: Star Trek: First Contact has some of the greatest canon violations of all when compared with the TOS episode Metamorphosis. Few complain, though, since the movie kicks so much ass.
