It's just a historically inaccurate version of Cinderella but girls think it's the greatest movie ever made. Why, we're still not sure but there's really nothing extraordinary about this adaptation of the fairy tale. Once again, be sure to put a creative story behind this one otherwise that respect might turn to pity.

Ever wonder where that great song "500 Miles" by the renowned band "The Proclaimers" came from? Neither did we, but its got Johnny Depp wearing a goofy hat channeling Charlie Chaplain; that's got to count for something. This is probably the most eccentricl of the love stories on this list but if you're an oddball who goes for the girl with one or two flaws that might otherwise make her "damaged goods" you'll enjoy watching this one with or without a female companion.

Horse? No, Julia Roberts is just a complete ass in this one. It's common for women to get jealous when their sister or best female friend gets married but to break up your best guy's wedding is just wrong! If a man wants to marry a cute, young airhead than you should let him. Also keep this in mind, never tell your female friend that if you're single, you'll marry her when you turn (insert age here) because like a crazy person she will blow it out of proportion and expect you to hold up your end of the deal.

Were you a geek in high school who was constantly reassured that your life would get better? If so, you're going to hate this movie because whoever kept telling you how much cooler it is to be an adult was boldly lying to your face. Oh, and if you think going back to high school with all your worldly, more experienced adult knowledge is the answer you're completely wrong. Drew Barrymore plays an ex-high school geek whose forces her to go undercover and re-live the good old glory days only to discover that the only easy way to get through life is to lie about everything and try not to get caught. For some weird reason girls love this movie, personally I think the prom scene(s) are the real highlights.
