What would a Thor movie be without his band of merry men?

Variety reported earlier today (but in an act of Asgardian magic, the article has disappeared) that Stuart Townsend, Ray Stevenson, and Tadanobu Asano have been cast as Thor's Warriors Three!

For the unfamiliar, The Warriors Three was a group of Asgardian warriors comprised of ladies' man Fandral, the pessimistic Hogun, and the cowardly Volstagg.  Marvel Comics the way of Vedri's Falstaff and the Fairies.

Thor continues to rake in the top-notch casting.  Stuart Townsend and Ray Stevenson are solid actors who deserve a chance to make-up for comic-to-movie missteps (League of Extraordinary Gentleman and Punisher: Warzone, respectively) and a quick look at Asano's IMDB just solidifies the trio.

Kenneth Branagh's Thor is shaping up to become the superhero equivalent to Hamlet, and to that I say, "Get me to a movie theater!"  Get it?  My quote sounded like a line from Hamlet.  Oh boy, I kill myself.
