Thor Costume Concept Designs Hit The Web

It's been one heckuva week for Marvel's movie-bound Avengers, as -- roughly 24 hours after Captain America's concept designs made the digital rounds -- fans are now possibly being treated to a first look at Thor!

So are we looking at Thor's official movie duds, or is someone out there having fun with Photoshop at the expense of fanboy excitement?

That's the question the folks over at Collider are asking today, as - hot on the heels of yesterday's leaked Chris Evans as "Captain America" images - new (albeit unconfirmed) Chris Hemsworth as "Thor" concepts are now currently making the internet rounds.

According to the source, both the timing and similar art styles of these leaked images lend some level of legitimacy (coupled with the fact that these designs look awfully similar to the official image released by Marvel a few weeks back), but what's really, REALLY cool about these images is we could be seeing the first look at Thor's weapon of choice, the Mighty Mjolnir, which arguably stands to get more criticism from die-hard Marvel heads than his costume (based on Thor's current comic book attire).

Again, no official word from Marvel Studios saying these designs are for real or a grand hoax, but if they are indeed on the level, it's verily a good direction for Marvel's resident God of Thunder. But that's just our opinion - what say you, Message Board land?
