What's scarier than Germans marching in unison?

A cautionary tale about social control and obediance, The Wave tells the based-on-a true story of a teacher's unorthodox response to "could the Holocaust happen here?"

In the real world, this happened in Northern California, but this movie kicks it up a notch by putting the action in Der Vaterland.  From director Dennis Gansel (whose forthcoming English language vampire tale We Are The Night is just around the corner) The Wave will be available on VOD this June 8th and at select theaters June 10th.

Please give its offical trailer debut an extended-arm salute.
