To all those young up-and-comers hoping to get cast as Moe in the upcoming Three Stooges movie, it's time to shave off that bowlcut and turn in that application at Bertucci's you've been holding off on. Today, news emerged that Chris Diamantopoulos has been cast as the remaining Stooge. He will join the fat guy from Mad T.V. (Will Sasso) as Curly and the flamboyant guy from Will and Grace (Sean Hayes) as Larry.
The original Stooges movies and shorts are often seen as a comment on the experiences of Eastern European immigrants during the early 20th Century, and we fully expect this new update to do the same, but while taking into account the ever-evolving nature of the American Dream.
Just kidding! The flick's directed by the Farrelly brothers, so we basically just expect to see Curly actually get his eyes poked out and Moe comb semen through his hair.

Let's talk about the elephant in the room, shall we? WHO'S PLAYING SHEMP!?
Diamantopoulos has appeared in guest roles on several different television shows, including The Sopranos, Nip/Tuck and Boston Legal, but he is probably best known for his role as President Allison Taylor's Chief of Staff Rob Weiss on the eighth season of 24. Fans might be skeptical that an actor with such limited comedic experience be asked to play the leader of the Stooges, but Ben Stiller is pretty much never funny and the Farrelly's got a decent enough performance out of that guy in There's Something About Mary.
