I can count a whole handful of times that was done. Thankfully, it fails worse and worse every time, so we don't have to worry about such a plan ever coming to fruition. Anyway, Raphael puts an end to things quickly by punching the man hard enough to make him lose his brain. I'm not sure how canon it is, but there you go.
