The Nanny Diaries
The Nanny Diaries was slightly out-of-step with a lot of other movies on Scarlett Johansson's resume, but starring alongside the likes of Chris Evans, Alicia Keys, Laura Linney and Paul Giamatti helped to elevate Johansson's star power. Although The Nanny Diaries was panned by most critics, Scarlett chose to diversify her resume with a more mature role than in years past and take on a project that could have easily deflated her momentum despite the end result. For this, we have to give Scralett kudos for taking a risk in order to been seen in a different light.
