Whatever this thing is, it is not okay. Apparently, this half-formed baby bot is meant to give people comfort when they miss their loved ones. You kind of set it up in a room while the person you miss talks to you through it. The Telenoid R1 is also designed to help kids in classrooms, which may be the worst thing we've ever heard. It's an admirable notion to try and skip the uncanny valley by going purposefully bland, but this is not the way. This is a very bad thing unleashed upon the world.
