David looks so much like a real boy that it's sometimes difficult to remember he's a robot. His manufactured form of love, on the other hand, brings his artificiality front and center, and it's creepy as hell. David shares T-1000's resolve, but his mission is to follow you around hugging you every five seconds. To anyone who's ever been in a super-needy relationship, David's "love" is pure horror.
