The Dark Knight score, by Hans Zimmer and James Newton Howard, is coming to stores on July 15th in both a standard version and a limited edition.
In other soundtrack news, even though the days of Danny Elfman scoring Batman films are long gone, all is not lost. Elfman is not only doing the score for WANTED, but has an all-new song on the soundtrack as well.
The track can be heard on the soundtrack's MySpace page. The album is out June 24th, three days before WANTED hits theaters. Also in stores on June 24th is the WALL-E soundtrack featuring a score by Thomas Newman and a few additional tracks by Michael Crawford and Peter Gabriel!
Start clearing off space on those iPods, lots of new tracks to listen to over the next week!
