Milla Jovovich, the Ukrainian model/fashion designer/actress hails from Ukraine (remember the USSR?) but she's currently the reigning queen of geekdom in America. Paving her way into our hearts as Alice in the Resident Evil franchise, Jovovich's offbeat look makes her perfect for the out-there sci-fi/horror heroine.
But if you catch her at Comic-Con, make sure you've brushed up on your Serbian Cyrillic alphabet - wouldn't want to mispronounce her name.
