Interpret this any way you want, but Marvel Studios flatly told The Incredible Hulk director Louis Leterrier no when he asked if there was a job opening on Captain America.
In an interview with Dark Horizons, the French director explains that after seeing some of the concept art, he became enthralled with the project, but was told that someone else was already up for the gig.
Whether this means Marvel is upset with Louis' job on The Incredible Hulk remains open to interpretation.
