I may not have been living under my surrogate parents' staircase eating table scraps for dinner, but when I got a letter inviting me to Hogwarts - ahem - the set of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (let my imagination ran wild for a second), I knew I was in store for something beyond belief.
I've been a Potter fan for a good chunk of my life and flying to London to experience the making of the final film was something of a dream come true. The sets, the costumes, the creatures, the characters - every piece of lore was at my fingertips upon entering the Potter homebase, a complex in the middle of English countryside compeltely devoted to the production of the magical saga.
Since Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows has been split down the middle into Part I and Part II, I thought it fair to do the same with my report. So leave your muggle life behind and enjoy the first half of my trip to Hogwarts! Erm, the Harry Potter set (did it again...).
And make sure to check out our interview with Harry Potter himself, Daniel Radcliffe!
