On June 22, 2012, Pixar will release their first original fairy tale, called Brave, featuring a young red-headed Scottish heroine. While we're a little unclear as to why Pixar isn't just doing a Snow White flick like everyone else, it's Pixar, so, you know, get excited, will ya?
This past weekend, Pixar's latest, Cars 2, a gritty, in-depth look at the trials and tribulations of anthropomorphic automobiles, hit theaters much to the dismay of UGO's very own Jordan "Spark Plug" Hoffman. For most people, the true highlight of that theater-going experience came before the movie even started, with the first look at the upcoming Brave, via an appropriately stunning, but far too short teaser trailer.
We say this every time a Pixar movie hits theaters, but seriously, this one looks absolutely incredible, with lush gorgeous textures and real emotion shining through the face of the film's protagonist. There's not much to go on just yet story-wise, but judging from the trailer below, do you think Brave will be a return to form after the mixed reviews received by Cars 2?
