Sure, evil deeds have been committed by men since the dawn of time, but when it's a beautiful lady who chooses to follow the path of darkness, somehow it makes things so much worse hotter. Throughout the history of entertainment, evil women have captivated us, with some of the greatest villains of all time belonging to the fairer sex. In this feature, we perform a survey of film, TV, games and comics to isolate and profile the fifty most wicked women of all time, from slashing serial killers to genocidal space organisms. These women may not have a lot in common besides the lack of a Y chromosome, but they're all united on the side of darkness. Without further ado, these are UGO's Top 50 Evil Women.

Live Free or Die Hard saw John McClane wrestling with the new face of terrorism in the 21st century. Instead of a bunch of Eurotrash jerks taking an office building hostage, the antagonists of the latest movie are a computer hacker and his ultra-hot Asian assassin girlfriend, the evil Mai Linh (played by Hong Kong action starlet Maggie Q). When hacker Thomas Gabriel commissions a number of unwitting programmers to provide him with code that will allow him to shut down the entire infrastructure of the United States, McClane must stop the plot the only way he knows how - by shooting people. He and Mai come face-to-face in a confrontation at a power station in West Virginia, where she eventually falls to his superior combat techniques. In revenge, Gabriel blows up the station by redirecting natural gas pipelines.
