Further Adventures of...Mace Windu

The adventures of Mace Windu don't end with the Star Wars movies.

"Further Adventures of..." chronicles the lesser-known exploits of our favorite major (and minor) characters from their respective expanded universes.  Have a favorite character who deserves a little face time?  Let us know in the comments!

Though his appearances in the Prequel Trilogy were few and far between, don't think Mace Windu is one of those management-type Jedis, the kind that sits on their hover-chairs and sends padawans off to battle.  To earn a seat on the Jedi Council, one must get their lightsaber dirty, and that's exactly how Windu spent his time.

Like Taebo, but for Jedi

Mace Windu wouldn't have climbed his way to the top of the Jedi Order if it wasn't for his mastery of Vaapad, the seventh form of combat in the Jedi's Juyo form.

It is revealed in the Episode III novelization that Windu was the only Jedi ever to master Vaapad, which he used to channel his own inner darkness.  During his confrontation with Depa Billaba (who fell to the darkside by her own inability to master the Vaapad), Windu employed "Form V" to wield both Depa's and his own lightsabers.

Vaapad: for badasses only.
