Edgar Wright, who can do no wrong, has cast Superbad's Michael Cera as the lead in his upcoming SCOTT PILGRIM'S PRECIOUS LITTLE LIFE, based upon the 2004 graphic novel by Bryan Lee O'Malley.
Aintitcoolnews.com adds that Cera is now in final negotiations to star in the film, which revolves around a lad who finds his dream girl, but has to fight off her seven ex-boyfriends before they can live happily ever after.
The film is due out sometime next year.
