A long time ago, in a galaxy far far away I had a store-bought VHS copy of The Empire Strikes Back and I thought I was the coolest guy in the history of time.
Now the time has come to up-rez to glorious Blu-ray, a format rich in midi-chlorians and heartbreak.
There is heartbreak because these Blu-rays come with only the Jar-Jar-ified Special Editions, but they also have 972 hours (roughly) of bonus features.
We're not sure who, exactly, from the Galactic Empire will be on hand at Comic-Con 2011, but I can tell you that we will be there, checking panels and the official Lucasfilm booth, on the hunt for new trailers and footage.
