UPDATE: In a development that rocks all multiverses, the Avengers will NOT assemble at SDCC. I don't really believe it either, but read all about Marvel's decision here.
FURTHER UPDATE: Okay, so there will not be a panel, but there will be "a presence." Does this just mean a cool-ass booth, or will there be footage sneaked in somehwere? (We're thinking at a fan-friendly Captain America panel.) If there's anything we're going to get to the bottom of, it is this, so stay tuned.
