Disney/Pixar released another full length trailer for Cars 2 today, and I think that it may just come in handy when the whiners come out of the woodwork after June 24.
The studio bigs can direct everyone to the trailer and say, "hey, when did we ever pretend that we were making another Up?"
This new trailer focuses on puns and far-fetched action, potentially leaving in the dust all notions you might hold about Pixar being synonymous with heart and story.
It's also got Mater. Lots and lots of Mater. Which is all well and good because we think Larry the Cable Guy is quite entertaining (for real) but I think we all know that the REAL reason the first Cars was such a financial success was because of the inclusion of Click and Clack, the Tappet Brothers.
Cars is brought to you public radio listeners like you. And don't drive like my brother.
So, if you approach Cars 2 more like you'd approach a picture like Rio, I think everyone will end up a lot happier.
