When you've got Bruce Campbell as Elvis Presley and Ossie Davis as JFK taking on a nasty mummy in an old folks' home, you'd think you're in store for a wacky horror comedy along the lines of Evil Dead II, right? Wrong. The unexpected serious tone is just one of the many surprises in Bubba Ho-Tep - director Don Coscarelli and his two stars play the film's outrageous premise straight and instead deliver a melancholy and touching story about growing old with dignity.

Best Buddy Moment: When Elvis visits JFK in his room and the former President shows the King his secret stash of candy bars. "Come on, let's get decadent!"
