Very little has been said lately regarding the proposed Logan's Run remake, but if reports that have hit the web today are any indication, the Carousel could be gearing up once again.
Over at THR's Heat Vision, they've dropped the name Alex Garland as being in talks to take on writing chores for the remake of the 1976 cult sci-fi classic. Garland, who is no stranger to sci-fi and horror with writing gigs on 28 Days Later and Sunshine to his credit, is apparently on the short list for the Warner Bros. film along with Carl Rinsch, a director of commercials, being rumored as the potential director.
According to the source, Warners plan on focusing more on the 1967 novel by William F. Nolan and George Clayton Johnson which inspired the original film.
