Let's be straight - movie magic can make pretty much anyone look tough. A little bit of CGI and some well-paid stuntmen can make Rob Schneider look like Bruce Lee. Sometimes you don't know who can really kick your ass and who's just good at faking it. But there are a few actors in Tinseltown who actually have the tough guy chops to back up their boasts. Whether they are karate champs or wild street brawlers, these eight actors can express themselves with fists as well as words. Although some of them have faced prosecution for their fracases, we're not here to cast judgment - instead, we're paying tribute to off-screen asskicking in all its forms. These guys have a history of violence, and we're here to celebrate them for it.

The Guy: Chuck Zito
The Roles: Chuck Zito is best known for his role as the brutal Mafia enforcer Chucky Pancamo on HBO's prison drama Oz. He is one of the few gang leaders to survive the show's entire span. He also had small roles in flicks like Gia, Carlito's Way and Man On The Moon.
The Fights: Chuck Zito was president of the New York chapter of the famed Hell's Angels motorcycle gang for almost twenty years, so he's seen some nasty stuff. But he's also a former Golden Gloves boxer and a black belt in Karate and Judo. Those skills made him the "bodyguard to the stars," working for dozens of celebs. But Zito isn't afraid to whip ass on the same people who sign his checks, bitch-slapping Gary Busey and punching Daily News writer AJ Benza so hard he was still drinking through a straw years later. But his most famous throwdown was with former client Jean-Claude Van Damme. When the Muscles from Brussels acted up in a NYC strip club, Zito nailed him with one hammering blow, sending the action star down to the floor in a whimpering heap. As Jean-Claude lay sobbing on the floor, Chuck stood above him bellowing "This is the street, and I own the street!"
