If you haven't heard, Twisted Metal is being reborn on February 14th for the PlayStation 3 and Sony has announced an utterly ridiculous promotion to coincide with the game's release. Head over to ShootMyTruck.com for a chance to enter and earn a spot to shoot a truck via your computer and the magic of the Internet.
That's right... you log on and through the mumbo jumbo magic of your computer, the Internet and a web camera, you'll gain control of a loaded automatic weapon that can pump 60 bullets into Sweet Tooth's truck. I don't know about anyone else, but I will be F5ing the heck out of that site to try to earn a spot to shoot the truck.
The full event runs from February 14-15 and Sony claims they'll fire off over 100,000 bullets during the promotion, which runs from 7 a.m.-3 p.m. EST. The truck will be set up in a desert (good thinking Sony) and users will be in control of an M249-SAW (that gun is no joke). I'm just glad I'll be at my computer and not on the clean-up crew... just saying.
