The Darkness
Unlike the good Roman Catholic boy his grandmother raised
him up to be, Jackie deploys demon minions to do his bidding when he should be
at home doing rosaries and eating sausages in the shape of St. Francis. The Mafia hitman (what, you were expecting Dr. Estacado, Esq.?) becomes possessed with
the powers of the Darkness on his 21st birthday.
ECW Anarchy Rulz
And you foolishly thought law and order ruled the Extreme
Championship Wrestling federation. The toughest guys to ever grapple in
leotards, the F.B.I. made their video game appearance in ECW Anarchy Rulz for the Playstation and Dreamcast. The
Full-Blooded Italians featured a rotating cast of stereotypes that make the Jersey Shore kids look like Rhodes Scholars. Fans
were known to chant "Where's my pizza?" at the Mafia-referencing, hand-gesturing,
greasy-haired crew, who are currently active in the TNA wrestling league.
Grand Theft Auto: Vice
City
It's Tommy's oily loafers you'll slide into in GTA: Vice City. After finally being
released from prison after his mob-related homicide conviction, Tommy wisely
re-ups with the Forelli family - a life of crime and alfredo sauce is the only life
he's ever known, after all. Tommy is voiced by real-life Italian Ray Liotta,
the man responsible for portraying (the Irish) Henry Hill in the gangster classic, Goodfellas.
Street Fighter series
Pompadourable V. Rosso only appears in the Street Fighter EX series, the fighting
franchise's questionable foray into polygonal 3D. Rosso's atrocious, decidedly
non-Italian fashion sense is mitigated by the following: he is upset because
his girlfriend died, and his name means "Red Volcano" in Italian.
Mario series
Mario, a carpenter, has been in upwards of four games.
He has a son named Baby Mario and a sister named Princess Figs.
