Caught in a downpour, Murphy Pendleton's prisoner transport truck careens off the road. As a prisoner, Murphy doesn't look a chance at freedom in the mouth. He runs off and soon finds himself in the town of Silent Hill. What starts as a seemingly-abandoned town, soon turns into a nightmare. Perhaps Mr. Pendleton's stay in prison wasn't so bad after all, in comparison.
