The Prince of Persia trilogy will soon be
joining a growing number of last-gen games that are getting
high-definition ports, but the new release hasn't yet been confirmed for
North America.
Ubisoft confirmed today that Prince of Persia: Trilogy in HD is real,
but that it is only scheduled for release in the EMEA (Europe, Middle
East, Africa) territories. The trilogy will include upscaled versions of
Sands of Time, Warrior Within and The Two Thrones, all of which will support stereoscopic 3D
(via Joystiq). The product's existence was revealed via a Amazon.co.uk listing, which
includes three screenshots. The listing has the release date as being November 19 on the PS3. We'll
let you know when we have official confirmation of a North American
release. Originally posted on 1UP.
