Time is currently hosting their annual poll to determine the 100 most influential people in the world, and it contains a couple notable representatives from the video game industry. Lionhead Studios founder Peter Molyneux is currently sitting at #102, just ahead of Presidential contender Mitt Romney. Considerably higher on the list are Jerry Holkins and Mike Krahulik, better known as the founders of Penny Arcade.

Coming off the debut of PAX East, the duo identified as the "Penny Arcade guys" are holding steady at #13 with an average rating out 89 out of 100. That puts them ahead of Beyonce, Jon Stewart and even President Barack Obama on the list of contenders.

At the top of the list is Conan O'Brien, who made waves in the media during his dispute with NBC and Jay Leno over NBC's time slot. Lady Gaga, Twilight's Robert Pattinson and Neil Patrick Harris all made the Top 10.

Time 100 regular Shigeru Miyamoto is nowhere to be found this year; the famed developed came in at #1 in 2008, but dropped to #42 in 2009. In adding Molyneux to the list, Time cited his involvement with Natal, saying it could be "interactive video games what Avatar was to 3-D movies." As for the Penny Arcade guys, they've got a webcomic, a charity and two of the largest gaming conferences in the country to their name.

Go ahead and cast your vote for both here.
