Least Anticipated Gaming Moments of 2008

If years are like relationships then 2007 was the love of many gamer's lives. Now that it's over, it's hard to look at 2008 as anything more than a rebound year. You know... you fall madly in love right away only to realize later on that things will never be as good as they once were. Even with some guaranteed hits looming on the horizon - Grand Theft Auto IV anyone? - last year will be a tough one to top. Especially when you start to consider all of the crap that's bound to come down the tubes in the next 12 months. Read on for UGO's Least Anticipated in 2008: Gamer's Edition.

We have no problems with Sony here at UGO, but is there any better time to put out the lights on their aging last-gen console? We'll always remember the good times... the Grand Theft Autos, the Metal Gear Solids, the Gran Turismos. Now, the best we have to look forward to is a string of features-light ports of current-gen games. Hell... Jackass: The Game had to be toned down from its PSP version for the PS2. We're starting to think that maybe it would just be better to let this now-classic console burn out as a viable contender as opposed to watching it fade away as little more than a running joke.
