The more observant of you will immediately say "Wait a
minute, Indiana Jones games are alive
and well." Yes, but they suck. Let's face it. When was the last time you played
a good Indiana Jones game? The
answer will probably be: Indiana Jones
and the Fate of Atlantis. The storyline was brilliant, the music was great,
there were several different paths through the game, etc. And don't even get me
started on punching Hitler in The Last
Crusade. After that, what happened? Tomb
Raider happened, and Indiana Jones decided to cash in and become a Tomb
Raider clone. Mind you The Infernal
Machine is a very solid game, but don't you yearn to see Indy in another
point-n-click? And don't even get me started on garbage like The Emperor's Tomb.
On a sidenote, I would have absolutely loved to
see Fate of Atlantis turned into a
movie - instead of, y'know, that other one they recently made.
