Plenty of franchises get milked for yearly releases. Not God of War. It's one tough cow. God of War III hits next-gen consoles midway through the traditional console lifecycle. But the third-person action platformer looks to be worth the wait. All the blood and gore has been caked onto what looks to be a well-designed slash fest filled with interesting puzzles and set pieces.
