Looks like Gears of War 3 will be a holiday release after all.
We received word this morning that the Microsoft and Epic have opted to
delay their marquee shooter into the 2011 holiday season. It was
originally slated for Spring 2011. A Microsoft spokesperson said in a statement, "The teams at Microsoft
Game Studios and Epic Games have done great work thus far readying the
title for release in the Spring of 2011. However, we?ve elected to move
the launch of Gears of War 3 until Fall 2011 to make it the marquee
title for the holiday season." In their statement, the spokesperson stressed that the delay isn't due
