It's a big dangerous world out there, and the only way you're going to make it is by knowing your role. Whether you're a White Mage, Black Mage, Red Mage, Fighter, Black Belt or Thief, you need to be sure you understand what the hell it is that you're supposed to be doing and that you're performing to the best of your abilities. You are one cog in the giant, adventuring machine. If you start to slack, you will be replaced with a party member who knows what they're doing.
I'm looking at you, Red Mage. "Jack of all trades, master of none?" Maybe I would value your multitasking a bit more if you were a "master of all," slacker.
