The new Crackdown 2 trailer has all these goodies baked into it. This one's our favorite.

See the "Peace is Our Profession" billboard to our right? Similar signage hangs over the military bases in Kubrick's dark-as-coffee comedy Dr. Strangelove and also on the trivial lobe of us mouth-breathing movie buffs who can't get through a family Thanksgiving without shouting "There's no fighting in the war room."

You probably know "Peace Is Our Profession" isn't original to Stranglove. The film co-opted the adage from America's real-life Strategic Air Command, who, until their closure following the end of the Cold War, employed the line as a motto.

You might think, "'Peace Is Our Profession,' sort of an oxymoronic motto for a squad with the finger on the button." Well, apparently the SAC thought the same - at least, at first. The slogan was whittled down from the company's original and substantially more badass: "War is our profession - Peace is your product."

Which, making two ends meet here, meshes with Crackdown 2 and its' human-operated war machines. So, Ruffian, I'm just tossing this out there, but how about you include both mottos. Yeah? Maybe? Excellent.
