Command & Conquer 4: Tiberian Twilight appears to be going the way of Batman and Battlestar Galactica, skirting the series' trademark cheese for dim corridors and a palpitating ambient brass section. Going solely off this video tour of the handmade set, led by lead designer Sam Bass, I think the risky choice will pay off -- to the degree of those other historical reboots, well, we'll see. Things to note: the plexiglass display in the tour becomes a sexy UI with a little help from post, actually sitting on the command room "stools" could split a man asunder and Sam's Portal tee, totally nerd chic. Glad to see some cross-developer love and especially pleased with the C&C team stepping away from the green screen.
