"When Rockstar approached me about creating a game with me making beats, I thought it was the most brilliant idea ever."
-Timbaland
Timbaland, the Grammy Award-winning hip hop producer, plays hype-man to Rockstar's new PSP beat machine, Beaterator, in this live-action clip that achieves the Herculean task of delivering an elevator pitch for an incredibly hard to classify game.
Neither a rhythm game, nor a traditional instrument, Beaterator's that rare bit of software that, at least Rockstar hopes, could serve as a toy for casual players and a tool for electronic musicians.
Beaterator drops September 29th, right on time for Sony's release of the PSP Go.
