The new NBA
Jam was scheduled to be released as a Wii exclusive later this
year, but it now appears that it's to be joined at some point by Xbox
360 and PlayStation 3 versions of the game. The German USK rating board
has listings (via GamerBytes) of an NBA Jam game from Electronic Arts
on both systems.
It's been puzzling that EA wouldn't release the game on as many
platforms as it could. 360 and PS3 versions of NBA Jam had been
previously rumored after an EA software engineer listed the
two systems as versions of the game she had worked on. She later removed
those details, and while it may have been a simple mistake, it now
looks like that isn't the case. The ratings board offers up no information on the game's release date on
either of the new systems, but expect to hear more about that once EA
officially announces the additional platforms. Originally published on 1UP.com
