After Burner's current-generation revival is less than a month away. Sega has announced a date and price for the arcade port, which is slated to hit Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network in the latter part of April.
After Burner Climax will be available for download on XBLA for 800 Microsoft Points ($10), and $9.99 on the PlayStation Network. It is an update of the classic shooter that served as an arcade fixture for more than two decades.
The update will feature three planes and some 20 missions. It first arrived in Japanese arcades back in 2006.
Look for After Burner Climax on XBLA on April 21, with the PSN version to follow when the PlayStation Store updates the day after.
