Chris Radtke: So season cinco-

Eric Wareheim: The big one.

Radtke: This is "The Big One!" Brought to you by Cinco!

Eric: I figured it kind of just played out perfectly. Season Cinco was a big part of the show. We love wordplay.

Radtke: In terms of the DVD itself, the artwork and title screens, do you guys have any involvement in the production of that at all? The artwork is amazing.

Eric: Adult Swim has the best designers in the whole business. There’s a guy named Duke Aber that has done all the DVD’s, tour posters, tour buses, and we usually have a conversation about what he’s thinking about and then usually Tim and I are like, “Fuck man, this is amazing. Go for it.” The final one was kind of dark, bloody, and scary. He captured that pretty well.

Radtke: You mentioned dark and bloody and scary. How did you guys get Michael Gross to get involved?

Tim: I think his stepson was a fan of the show. We basically contacted his agent and I think he kind of asked around and asked his stepson if he heard of the show and his stepson was like, “Yeah, you have to do it. It’s amazing.”

Radtke: So, you guys actually sought him out?

Tim: Yeah, we realized after we had cast a couple of TV dads that we had some gaps to fill. We realized we needed to go for the trifecta.
