Wanda Maximoff, the Scarlet Witch. If you haven't heard of her, then I almost guarantee you've heard of her father. A little-known mutant by the name of Magneto. Yes, the mutant terrorist had children, both of whom joined earth's mightiest heroes: The Avengers. Why is Wanda important? Well, other than being a core member of the group since the early 60's, she also caused, through the use of her reality altering powers, events that shook the Marvel Universe to its core. She broke up the Avengers, and caused the deaths of Hawkeye, Ant-man, and the Vision. While comic characters don't stay dead for very long, Scarlet Witch sure made a dent in the tights-wearing population.
