Nasium Training’s Sterile Processing Training Series equips your healthcare employees with the technical and procedural skills needed to support sterile environments and patient safety. Designed for both upskilling existing team members and preparing new hires, this 16-week training blends online didactic learning, lab simulations, and in-person clinical instruction to build confidence, competency, and consistency in sterile processing roles.

Learners complete 12 weeks of online coursework and lab activities followed by 4 weeks of hands-on clinical experience, before culminating in the preparation to sit for the Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) exam. (1)

Training modules cover microbiology, infection prevention, sterilization methods, and instrument processing cycles. Each participant also receives preparation to sit for the CRCST exam. (1)

Additionally, the completion of this course alone does not meet the full eligibility requirement for CRCST certification. Learners must complete a minimum of 400 hours of hands-on experience before applying for certification.
