What is the Avigilon Control Center?

The Avigilon Control Center, or ACC, is the on-premises video management software behind the Avigilon platform. A server on the property stores video and runs analytics, while operators view live and recorded footage through a desktop, web, or mobile client. Mammoth Security installs and configures ACC for Connecticut facilities from its Norwalk and New Britain offices.

Is Avigilon NDAA-compliant?

Yes. Avigilon is NDAA-compliant, along with Axis, Hanwha Vision, ExacqVision, and Milestone, which matters for Connecticut facilities that take federal or state funding or serve aerospace and defense-adjacent work. Under Section 889 of the National Defense Authorization Act, those facilities cannot run covered manufacturers such as Hikvision or Dahua. Mammoth Security raises this before hardware is chosen.

Does Mammoth Security install ExacqVision and Milestone too?

Yes. Alongside Avigilon, Mammoth Security installs ExacqVision and Milestone, open-platform video management systems suited to large industrial and multi-site operations. Both are NDAA-compliant and support cameras from many manufacturers through the ONVIF standard, which helps operations that have accumulated mixed hardware unify it under one interface.
